Annual African Family Business Conference

UKAMA

In the Shona language there is a broader concept than ubuntu, ukama, which means relatedness—relatedness to the entire cosmos.

There is a Shona saying, “Ukama igasva, hunozadzikiswa nekudya” which means relationships are hardly complete until you share a meal.

Why “UKAMA”? When we work together, we get more done and we create a strong and sustainable relationship. 2022 is about focusing on the relationships and thread that runs through African Family Business. Understanding the past, present and future of the Family Business landscape will not only be our success but it will create a holistic map that can help us navigate into a purpose driven future working with the right stakeholders. We invite Family Businesses, Experts, and Stakeholders to the table to discuss the pertinent issues and suggested solutions for these problems.

Welcome to the future of building “UKAMA”

Consider this the Must-Attend event for African Family Businesses in 2022.
